Homes which will provide the dogs a reasonable level of activity will be given preference due to the activity level of the breed.
Hettie is a 2 year old Icelandic Sheepdog female who turned out to be very small at only 14" tall and approximately 14 pounds. She was purchased as a potential breeding prospect, but she ended up being way too small. She has some beginning agility training and has earned a couple of Tricks titles. She seems to really enjoy agility, but may need some confidence work to help her reach her full potential. She can be a bit of a pushy little girl, but does seem to respect other dogs when they tell her to stop being a pain. She does need some work on being quiet in a crate when you walk away from her or are working other dogs. She has exhibited some nipping behavior, especially when she gets excited. She would probably be best suited to an experienced dog home which has dogs that are larger than she is and has no small children.
